JOB GOAL:Monitor students and assure proper conduct in the cafeteria; maintain cleanliness of food service facilities.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Monitor students and assure proper conduct in the cafeteria.

2.Organize students into orderly lines for the purchase of food.

3.Organize students for orderly disposal of food waste, trays and utensils.

4.Report physical confrontations or incidences to appropriate personnel as needed; resolve minor problems as needed.

5.Maintain cleanliness of food service facilities; arrange furniture as required; clean tables at the end of the service period.

6.Know procedure for use and operation of fire extinguisher.

7.Report accidents and potential safety hazards to cafeteria manager.

8.Receive and respond to suggestions for improvement of food service student activities.

9.Participate in local school district in-service meetings and training programs as required.

10.Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
